KOBE 9?

I think it goes unnoticed how popular Kobe's kicks are because of LeBron's and Jordans. but Kobe is still selling and when the 8s first dropped most colorways sold out in common sizes on Nike.com. Speaking for myself (@mazaradii), Kobe's are Nike's best b-ball sneaker that dropped lately. KD VI's were terrible and the V's were actually great so I was upset at that and Lebron's are just too heavy. Now the display above shows all of Kobe's signature shoes since he's been at Nike. In the middle is a 9.

Possibly what started the Kobe 9 but who knows it's July and we've seen the KD VI drop and pics of what was said to be the Lebron 11. I wonder why we havent seen any samples or images of the Kobe 9 but can Kobe and Nike really top the 8s? Any suggestions on what should change?
