The Los Angeles Lakers have signed guard Nick Young today to a one-year deal at a veterans minimum contract. Young spent last season with the 76ers and averaged 10.6 points and 23.9 minutes a game. He's built a reputation for taking bad, low-percentage shots & being trigger happy, shooting a career 41% from the field. Nevertheless, his athleticism and 6'7 frame is exactly what the Lakers could use in their backcourt. A player that can create his own shot besides Kobe Bryant is much needed after the stagnant bench play last year.
